It measures 2" wide by 1 ¼" high and is marked with a stamp that says "HAMBURG BEAKER." The sticker also says "Made in Germany." This makes sense because it shares many similarities to other pieces from Germany made around 1900. VERY FINE GERMAN SILVER-GILT TUMBLER-CUP



This tumbler-cup is a perfect example of the workmanship and design that went into German silver-gilt objects. The cup has a delicate handle, and an ornate pattern around the rim. It also has two bands on either side with flower decorations in between them. This cup was made by Johann Philip Künigshovens court silversmith workshop in Berlin during 1727 to 1728.
